Day : Annual Independence Day for Malaysia.

      Hari Merdeka (Independence Day) is a national day of Malaysia commemorating the independence of the Federation of Malaya from British colonial rule in 1957, celebrated on 31 August each year. This should not be confused with Hari Malaysia (Malaysia Day) when Malaysia was formed on 16 September 1963 together by Federation of Malaya, North Borneo, Sarawak and Singapore.

      Starting from 2015, as been stated by the Minister of Communication and Multimedia Ahmad Shabery Cheek, the Independence Day celebration is likely to be held without mentioning the number of years to prevent the people in Sabah and Sarawak from being isolated if the number of independence anniversaries was stated. However, the Minister of Land Development of Sarawak Tan Sri Datuk Amar Dr James Masing reminded that since 16 September had been declared as Malaysia Day, it should be the rallying point for the nation's unity. He added "Everyone now knows that 31 August is Malaya's and Sabah's Independence Day… it's not our (Sarawak) independence day. They can celebrate it both in Malaya and in Sabah as they have the same Independence Day date, and we can join them there if they invite us. We must right the wrong". Masing was commenting on Shabery Cheek’s recent proposal that Malaysia should continue to commemorate 31 August as its Independence Day, without mentioning the anniversary year.

      Malaysia is a very unique and special country. It is located in South East Asia. The citizens are from different races and religions. So, Malaysia is called a multi-racial, multi-cultural and multi-religious country. There are three main races in this developed country such as the Malays, the Chinese and the Indians. Most of them live in Peninsular Malaysia and are government servants. Although they practice different religions, they work together and live peacefully.

      The Independence Day is an annual celebration by the whole world but Malaysian names it as a Merdeka Day. All countries honour their respective independence day, celebrating it as a national holiday. Thus, on the 31 August every year, it is marked as the Malaysian Independence Day. However, there are lot differences of celebrating the Independence Day on 31 August and today in terms of spirit and technology.

      On 31st of August every year, we as Malaysians celebrate the National Day. A lot of people enjoy celebrating the National Day. We enjoy singing the National Songs, decorating our classroom, watching the countdown concert, counting down the time to midnight and watching the parade on National Day. But when we do all those things, do we feel anything or we just celebrate National Day without understanding or feeling anything?? Don’t you at least feel proud being a Malaysian?? At least, we should APPRECIATE living here in Malaysia. There are a lot of reasons why we should.

      These few years, Malaysians having a demonstration called Bersih which held at Kuala Lumpur. Bersih 2.0 criticised the Inspector-General of Police and other authorities today for throwing up roadblocks on their month-end rally in the national city after green lighting road closures in the city for three days recently to allow the Kuala Lumpur Grand Prix to take place. Labelled “selfish” by the IGP for its planned August 29 overnight camp-out here, the electoral watchdog also questioned why the authorities would expend so much “national resources” on a three-day street race but frown on a one-day rally. “Bersih 2.0 frowns at IGP Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar’s recent statement calling the ‘Bersih 4’ rally selfish and suggested we gather at the Bukit Jalil stadium instead. “This is funny considering most main roads were closed for three days for the KL City Grand Prix… we did not hear any rejection from the IGP and others,” the group said in a statement. Khalid had previously taken Bersih to task, claiming the overnight rally would disrupt public activity, including the businesses of street traders. The group refuted the IGP’s claim, reminding the latter that their past rallies in the city had benefited businesses and boosted the use of public transport into the city and only caused “minimal impact” to street traders. The Bersih 4 rally is scheduled to take place at five points in the city, with participants camping at the iconic Dataran Merdeka — the site of the annual Independence Day parade on August 31 — for 36 hours.

      We have to remember that everything we have is given to us by God. We should appreciate even the smallest thing that God gave us. Having good health, a happy family, and a peaceful environment. All this things we have to appreciate because God can take it back from us anytime. We should never take for granted of anything that God has given to us. When we learn to appreciate things, we will live happier because we realize that the world is not a bad place after all.

      Going back to our topic, “Appreciating Malaysia”, we will realize that how lucky we are to live here in Malaysia. Soon, we will realize that Malaysia is not a bad country after all. We are living with peace and harmony without worrying about any serious problems. We can easily get education, food, water and shelter. And not to forget the technologies that we are using which are the same or even better than other countries around the world. Hand phones…

      There are varieties of food in Malaysia. The Malay traditional food are very sweet. For example, the layer cake is made of sugar, flour and other ingredients. The Chinese like to eat herbal soup, mixed vegetables, steamed fish with extra ginger and soy sauce. The Indians like spicy food such as tandoori chicken and the vegetable dalca, which blends well with briyani rice and lentil soup.I love my country so much. I am proud to be a Malaysian.

Day : Things that Gamer Benefits and not normal human.

 Playing video games, including violent shooter games, may boost children's learning, health and social skills.

  

Important research has already been conducted for decades on the negative effects of gaming, including addiction, depression and aggression, and these are certainly not to be ignored. However, to understand the impact of video games on children's and adolescents' development, a more balanced perspective is needed.

While one widely held view maintains that playing video games is intellectually lazy, such play actually may strengthen a range of cognitive skills such as spatial navigation, reasoning, memory and perception, according to several studies reviewed in the article. This is particularly true for shooter video games, which are often violent. A 2013 meta-analysis found that playing shooter video games improved a player's capacity to think about objects in three dimensions just as well as academic courses designed to enhance these same skills.

This has critical implications for education and career development, as previous research has established the power of spatial skills for achievement in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

This enhanced thinking was not found when playing other types of video games, such as puzzles or role-playing games.

Playing video games may also help children develop problem-solving skills. The more adolescents reported playing strategic video games, such as role-playing games, the more they improved in problem solving and school grades the following year. Children's creativity was also enhanced by playing any kind of video game, including violent games, but not when the children used other forms of technology, such as a computer or cell phone.

Simple games that are easy to access and can be played quickly, such as "Angry Birds," can improve players' moods, promote relaxation and ward off anxiety. If playing video games simply makes people happier, this seems to be a fundamental emotional benefit to consider. The authors also highlighted the possibility that video games are effective tools for learning resilience in the face of failure. By learning to cope with ongoing failures in games, the authors suggest that children build emotional resilience they can rely upon in their everyday lives.

Another stereotype the research challenges is the socially isolated gamer. More than 70 percent of gamers play with a friend, and millions of people worldwide participate in massive virtual worlds through video games such as "Farmville" and "World of Warcraft," the article noted. Multiplayer games become virtual social communities, where decisions need to be made quickly about whom to trust or reject and how to lead a group, the authors said. People who play video games, even if they are violent, that encourage cooperation are more likely to be helpful to others while gaming than those who play the same games competitively.

Day : Another Movie Review !

Pitch Perfect 2

     Pitch Perfect 2, a movie I would rate 8/10. Just from the trailers has grabbed many young teens as well as some adult's attention about this movie. From the famous group called Pentatonix to the prequel of this movie Pitch Perfect, it has already grabbed many viewers to want to watch this movie.

    The story started with a group of girls namely Barden University Bellas, it has been three years since they won their first Acapella national title. And what a three years it's been. They're the royalty of the U.S. Acapella establishment, winning awards year after year while traveling to events all around the country. It's been such a blissful stretch that one of the group's leaders, Chloe, is not happily embarking on her seventh year of college, relentlessly shifting majors and class loads just so she can keep lilting with her golden-throated BFFs.

      This is the year, however, that calamity strikes. During a special performance, in front of the president of the United States and his family, no less. Fat Amy has a major wardrobe malfunction. Make that a wardrobe nuclear holocaust. While hanging suspended from the auditorium ceiling by a band of silk, she slips, splits her tights open and reveals to the crowd, well, let's just say it this way that she isn't wearing any underwear.

      This embarrassing mishap not only makes it to the national headlines but also gets the Bellas totally banned from any further domestic Acapella competitions. The devastated singers have only one chance at redemption. They must do what no other American team has ever done and win the World Acapella Championships in Copenhagen.

      That's how the story goes, I'm not going to further spoil you if you haven't watch but let's look at the positive elements. As these girls work hard to rebuild their what seemed to be fallen group, they realize how important it is to enjoy the time they have together, to value one another's skills and friendship. And some of them, Chloe and Beca at the fore, come to realize that taking the next step in life can be a rewarding, even if difficult experience.

      The next thing to mention about would definitely be the sexual contents in this movie. From the movie we can see Fat Amy and a guy named Bumper kiss and roll on top of each other. I mean seriously? This show is suppose to be about singing and dancing but this has implied that they regularly sneak away for sexual trysts. Besides that, seeing far less than her presidential audience sees, we still caught a glimpse of Amy's bare backside when her costume rips.

      What's next? One of the Bellas is an openly gay girl who eyes several of her cohorts and seductively and later admits to secretly touching one of the other girl's "goodies" while they're camping out and all sleeping together. A new Bella recruit named Emily talks about the five-octave range her mother and father managed tot sing out while having reproduction process.

      In rehearsals the Bellas wore yoga pants, and the camera takes time to ogle their backsides. A group called Das Sound Machine often wears mesh shirts that showcase a little bit of both guy and girl's side. There are a number of jokes and puns about straight, gay and transgendered sex, as well as some lowbrow talk about body parts, etc.

      There are still many things to talk about like a part of violent content where the girls experience a few pratfall thumps during campsite team building exercises. And a little bit on the alcohol content as these co-eds which some of them are still teens drink beer and hard liquor at a couple of different parties and a singing competition.

       In conclusion this movie is near perfect for teens and adults but is definitely not recommended for kids to watch or at least watch without parental guidance. This movie review may sound like an offend but I'll really recommend you to watch it because their music are awesome ignoring the negative points in the movie which nobody ever give two shits about it because a movie is a movie.

Day : Escape, The Parody of Step by Wicked Step

Escape is a sad and haunting story of an abused child who dreams of getting away.

      My name is Steve, my father passed away when i was still in elementary school. All I had left is my mother and I thought we were both what we need to survive. But I guess I'm the only one thinking it that way. Life was going smoothly until this guy came along, his name is Ernest and he is my new stepfather. My stepfather always hated me. When my mother married him and he moved into our house, my life has became a living hell. He found fault with every little things I did and was constantly shouting at me. In his eyes, I could never do anything right.

      Pretty soon, all of the chaos at home began affecting my schoolwork. I found it impossible to study and my grades starting slipping. At the dinner table, I was so nervous that I hardly ate a thing. I gradually withdrew into myself and stopped hanging out with my friends. Things began to grow worse as time passes by. I became my stepfather's punching bag. He started beating me at the slightest excuse. He was a strong man and I was too weak to fight him off. Each punch and kick he delivered to me hurt me emotionally as well as physically. It wasn't long before I was diagnosed with depression and the doctors put me on medication.

      Through all this, my mother stood by and refused to intervene. She chose her new husband over me. That hurt me more than anything else. I gave up, hoping and praying for the day when I could escape. One day, I couldn't stand it anymore and ran away from home. I made it as far as the city but the police found me and brought me home. When they took me back to my house, there my stepfather was standing at the door waiting for me. His face was in full anger and rage. As soon as the police left, he turned to me and say "Did you think you could escape?"

      That very night, he beat me twice as bad as before. I cried myself to sleep. After that, violence escalated. Every evening when he came home from work, I tried to avoid him, but it was no use. He began inventing silly excuses to beat me up. I never understood how any living souls could be so mean and cruel. It seemed like it was all fun and games to him. Each time he hit me, I could see the joy on his eye. My body was covered in bruises and it hurts just to breathe.

      Eventually, he went too far. One evening, he beat me so badly that I couldn't move. I just lay on the floor of my bedroom, staring at the ceiling. I didn't know it at the time, but I was bleeding internally. My mother begged him to bring me to hospital, but as expected he ignored her. He said I was faking it for attention. During the night, I lay on the floor of my bedroom, moaning in pain and slowly slipping into unconsciousness. The next morning, my mother came in to check on me, but by then, I was already dead.

      Time passed...

      I don't really know how much time passed...

      Suddenly, I saw a bright light.

      I heard a voice announce, "It's a healthy baby boy!"

      I started crying loudly.

      Slowly, every so slowly, I opened my eyes.

      A man and a woman were staring at me.

      They were smiling from ear to ear.

      The man leaned down and touched my cheek.

      In a gentle voice, he said, "Did you think you could escape?"

Day : One Minute Story?

To tie or not to tie 

      Once upon a day, there was a man named Rick, today was his first big job interview and guess what? He woke up late, scumbag alarm clock decided to play a fool on his first day of work. Frantically he threw on a suit. "OH NO!", he thought. "MY TIE! Dad is out of town and isn't there to help me, and for my entire life I did not know or learn how to tie a tie!" He grabbed a tie and ran out the door. "Excuse me sir," he said to a random crossing guard, "I have an important job interview, can you help me make this tie pretty please?" "Sure" said the random crossing guard, "just lie down on this bench and I'll get it done immediately." He thought to himself, well if someone was going to help me I wasn't going to ask any questions. After the crossing guard finished tying it, the tie looked fantastic but he couldn't resist and had to ask why he had to lie down. The random guard said " Well, in my previous job I learned how to tie tie's on other people when they were lying down." Rick asked incredulously "What was your previous job?". "I ran a morgue." Was the reply.

Day : Imagination or Reality?

      Human life forms are such a mystery, there's so much stuff that I think that the scientists have yet figure out about humans. Like their abilities so on and so forth.

      From Biology we have learned that our rib cage has several level or layers whatever you called it. And from there, there is this one pair of bones that drives me in full curiosity mode which is called Floating Ribs. Think about it, these ribs are actually floating in the rib cage, there is nothing to support it. What if, just what if, they are the basic stage of us having wings? I'm not spitting jokes but think about it, what if those Floating Ribs are bones for the wings, just that we have to unlock it in order for them to activate. Like we need to do something to unlock the ability of flight, just like how we need to learn in order to do something like whistling or snapping your fingers , abilities like that.

      Think about it, in mere future when people actually unlock their wings. We wouldn't even need transport anymore, we would just fly anywhere we want. Okay then, wings are maybe too extreme for starters, how about tails? In Biology we learned that we have a bone called tail bone, which was actually a real tail when we were still in our mother's womb. the tail just shrunk and became a tail bone when we were given birth. Think about it, if genetic mutation caused the tail to be unable to shrunk, would that means that baby has a tail? Would the doctors cut the tail off just to make the kid look "normal" ?

      Tails are one thing, and wings are another but what if I said that we have magic and powers that we have yet been able to unlock it. Like we all had magic running in our blood or powers born within us but we have no one being able to unlock it to actually teach us how. You don't go YouTube finding "How to unlock your super powers", you'll probably find some weird guys showing u how to be a ninja but let's be realistic, abilities can be unlocked so why can't magic and powers be unlocked? Imagine if all of us had unlocked our powers or magics and we had to change the entire council or establish a world magic safety association in order to keep people from misusing their gifts.

      Don't you find these things are mysterious and are dying to be discovered ? Me too hahahaha.

Day : What IF Astronomy?

       Many people would think that we human beings are way too early to explore space, but we're also too late to explore the sea. But doesn't that mean we're just at the right time to explore space if we're too late to explore sea? Have you ever thought about what could lie in the bare universe that is beyond earth? Think about it this way, all your entire life you've been in this small planet earth but what lies ahead of us is way more than we can imagine. Think about it, if the universe is so big, is there ever end to it? What if we "swam" all the way to the bottom of the universe or all the way up to the top. Would we be stopped by an invisible floor or would it be an never ending loop or maybe even be a portal that transfer you all the way to the top if you went to the end of the bottom or vice versa.

      The universe is such a unique thing, what if there was a parallel universe where thing were exactly like here but happened differently with us making alternate decisions. What if this whole thing was controlled by one master mind that seek for pleasure in building his own "Country Story". If I were able to be an astronaut when I grow up I will definitely find out what's going on in this whole thing. What if aliens existed , but this has been quite common. What if other human beings existed in other planets that they built a spaceship when they were still in the stone age and escape to another planet to live just like how maybe Adam and Eve was the first so called aliens that explored another planet.

      The stars and planets are also unique, like how are they so big and what is their purpose of being existed in the first place? I've learned when i was still Form 3 that stars are actually planets in making. We could just google an image of universe and you could see that there are way way way more than millions of planets and stars that we have already known. So there's got to be other life forms existing besides in earth right? Why aren't we funding more on this site of exploration, isn't it weird that we are so close yet so far from the universe?

      What if we could adapt in other planets that scientists say that we can't survive on them. Like how animals or insects adapt to environmental changes. What if we put a cockroach on Mars and once they adapt, would they be like unstoppable or insanely strong and immune to vacuum or doesn't even require oxygen to breathe? If earth was at destruction one day would we be able to live on space? Like the ones in the shows where they literally lived in a space craft and carry out activities like daily lives.

      There's so much undiscovered stuff that needs to be discovered and which is why I want to be an Astronaut hahahahaha.

Day : Drama Night ? :D

      Korean Drama : Bad Guy

      Bad Guys is a 11 episode must watch Korean drama that tells a story of how after the Police Chief’s son dies in a violent crime, he asks the suspended ‘crazy dog’ detective Oh Goo Tak ( Kim Sang Joong)  to form a team to combat rising violent crimes. Detective Oh Goo Tak then gathers the youngest serial killer in the Korea’s history with extraordinary intelligence, Lee Jung Moon (Park Hae jin), Park Woong Chul (Ma Dong seok) a notorious gangster, and Jung Tae Soo (Jo Dong Hyuk) who is a contract killer and all of them are currently serving time for their respective heinous crimes. Police Inspector Yoo Mi Young (Gang Ye won) has also joins the team to keep the team ‘Crazy Dogs’ in check. 

      Bad Guys constantly churned out solid episodes every week and did a good job of keeping us on our toes for its entire 11 episode run, I assure you don’t wouldn’t want to miss one bit of it as it’s that good. The pace was good it wasn’t too slow or too fast the only thing I hated was waiting a whole week for the next episode’s sub version to come out. Bad Guys is easily among one of my favourite Korean Dramas!!!

      Bad Guys kept its focus on our Team Crazy Dogs and the growing pains that come along with any new kind of relationship. That is what I felt kept the show from becoming too much like a straight procedural show that solves crimes every week. (how boring right? Zzz) I loved their constant bickering and love-hate relationship between one another. Besides that, can we just take a moment to appreciate all the action scenes in this drama.. like OMG it was AMAZING, every punch, every kick looked real and on point, without a single flaw, it was just so intense.

       I believe that a good story should be able to introduce and induce life into its characters and establish their relationships with each other within its few hours or minutes. And for what it’s worth Bad Guys certainly falls into this category. Even the teensy tiny details weren’t left out. The show apart from solving crime of the week (which was really interesting how each episode’s crime was different from the other) also focuses on its four main characters.Woong-chul, Tae-soo, and Jung-moon whom each had a story to tell and secrets to hide, and their paths were more intertwined than they thought. It gave us clues as well as red herrings each week to solve the jigsaw puzzle of Jung moon’s mysterious past. The show built up to this climax rather well, taking individual story lines from Woong Chul’s gangster background to Tae Soo’s hired assassin connections a straight procedural show that solves crimes every week. (how boring right? Zzz) I loved their constant bickering and love-hate relationship between one another.       I really think Bad Guys is a really good, easy to watch drama for people who like mystery and crime investigation or you know people who like a good drama. The story was truly amazing and the actors and actresses really did a fantastic job in portraying their character. It’s definitely worth your time, so why not give this drama a go, eh?

Day : Back to Old Memories

5 Things We Probably Miss from the Old MapleStory

  

      Whether you’re a hardcore gamer or a casual gamer, chances are you’ve either played or come across one of the more popular games back then: MapleStory. However, so much has changed since then, with the Big Bang, new classes with dragons floating over their heads, and new maps with even weirder monsters. The real essence of MapleStory is so much different now. For the sake of nostalgia, here are some awesome memories from the old MapleStory we all knew and loved.

1. The best spot to hangout in the entire game.

                                  

Who could forget this spot "The Henesys Hunting Ground I", where people just came here to chill and relax? Back then, leveling was so tough that reaching level 30 almost seemed impossible unless you had no life and being a level 70 is like god. Instead, we hung around and just talked or flirted while passing time. Despite being a MMORPG which emphasis on leveling, we took the social aspect more seriously, and made plenty of friends which was way more fun.

2. Kerning PQ (a.k.a KPQ), auto-clicking to get into PQ

                         

Leveling was so mundane back then that doing party quests was the easier and more fun way to level up. Everyone would queue up in Kerning City around the sewer area and just wait for their turn to enter the quest. I believe the instance system was relatively new at that point in time, thus disallowing parties to enter at the same time. Most players would end up downloading a software called ‘Autoclicker’, which did exactly what it’s named after, so as to increase their chances of getting in. Some would also use "NPC Chat Button" and also "/find" to track other people to know whether are they coming out yet. The feeling of getting into the PQ faster than other parties was the best feeling ever, it was like a sense of achievement.

3. Taking a plane to Orbis

                           

Probably the highest point of the Maplestory timeline was the opening of Orbis, where you had to pay for ticket to get there. After almost 2-3 years exploring the old Victoria Island, the opening of a new island was definitely appealing for all. One particular instance then was the occasional appearance of the Crimson Balrog, which was the most powerful monster back then. It was probably the thing that would piss anyone off the most, after paying the money to get to the new island and ended up in a gravestone back in where you came from. But it would be fun too if your guild decided to go for a Crimson Balrog raid, where you get to have your revenge against these creatures that once waste your 80k mesos.

4. Spawning mobs to kill noobs

                            

This was probably the funniest moments when you're the one summoning them and the worst moments when you're the "noobs". Back in the days many characters are very low level as it was way harder to level up back then compared to now. Hence spawning or summoning some high level mobs would instantly kill most of the people there as they are far out-leveled by the monsters. You can normally see these monsters being summoned in famous hang out places like Henesys Hunting Ground I, Kerning PQ spot and in the picture above, Perion (a.k.a the old Free Market).

5. The Best BGMs

Probably the most memorable parts of the old games were the Background Music. They had almost the perfect combination of soothing and uplifting tones and were also addictive. They change as you travel so that it was hard to get bored of them. Have a trip back to nostalgia-land by listening to these.

Day : Literature Time 3 !

Literature Work : How a character changed due to a certain events that have taken place

      Out of a million novels to pick from, I've decided the novel Step by Wicked Step written by Anne Fine would be the best one for this topic. Many character has undergone many events in their lives but the most impact change would definitely be Colin.

      First and foremost, Colin has changed into a very unhappy and lonely boy. And why is that? All because he had to join a new school when his mother moved out of their home with him, he couldn't do anything, he had no authorities, let alone priorities from his mother. Colin's mother has always prioritize her canteen work over him. Besides that he had to go thru many unpleasant experiences like getting ignored because if you transfer to a school, you basically have no friends unless you're hot or pretty. Because everyone already has their own circle of friends, there's no slot for a newcomer, never. Having many problems is one thing but not being able to share his problems is the worst thing to happen especially when it applies to your loved ones. Colin's mother is so obsess with her job at the canteen and the household chores, she ain't got time for Colin's petty problems. Her own life is already a problem, why would she want more, is what she probably thinks. With these Colin has changed from a jolly and happy go lucky boy into an unhappy and forever alone boy.

      Secondly, Colin that has nothing at all becomes a dreamy boy which causes him to daydream everyday and have less focus in his studies or class and thus doing badly in examinations. What could cause him to daydream so much? Mainly would be his dad that he misses so much, after they were separated from each other, Colin has missed him twice the more amount than he had before. For instance, every night he would take the tobacco tin out of the toe of his boot which was his only memorial stuff about his dad and put it under his pillow. Doing that helps remind him of the good old times when they were still together like humming a their favourite song and staying awake for hours talking to his dad. Colin always pretends that his dad was their by doing those what seemed to be memorable things. These are the reasons why Colin has became such a dreamy person, not that charming dreamy person but a all day everyday day dream person.

      Thirdly, Colin after all these years has turned into someone resourceful. It was exactly 5 years, 8 months, and 7 days since he was separated from his dad. Now that's an information that is quite shocking to hear, I mean who records duration like this? He has always secretly writes his dad's name and his old address on the forms at school. He couldn't accept the truth that his dad is no longer his dad anymore, all he have was hope but hope couldn't bring him anywhere close to his objectives. Sometimes in life, I do that too but then again doing it is harmless anyway its just all for self happiness. But the least Colin was do was try his very best, he tries to save money and he even does three paper rounds to earn money just to search for his dad when he is older. It was all part of his marvelous plan, waiting to be succeeded when he is older. So with his loss, he became a very resourceful person.

      In conclusion, Colin responded negatively to the changes in his life, always sad, dreamy, moody and dull at first. Finally his bulb had lit up and he decided sitting there weeping couldn't solve any of his current problems. He finally decided to do something worthy to search for his dad, the little boy has finally grown mature. In the end, his love and longing for his dad motivated him to become optimistic, resourceful and patient in his mission. The mission to search for his dad.

Day : Literature Time 2 !

Literature Work : Compare Two Characters

      Out of so many novels, I have decided to choose this novel, Step by Wicked Step written by Anne Fine. The characters that I'll be comparing will be Richard and Colin. We'll be looking at what similarities can these 2 young boy could bear.

      The first similarity would be their love for their dad. As we all know, we all love our dad and there is no different for these 2 boys too. They both missed their fathers, what could have happened to their fathers? In Richard's side of the story, his father died from a fever. Richard was given a big responsibility of taking care of his sister and his mother after the loss of his father. In Colin's side of the story, he and his mother had moved away with his father's knowledge. Probably because they broke up and divorce, Colin couldn't stand losing his father, he knew he was still out there somewhere. But unfortunately for Richard, he lost his father permanently, poor young boy lost his father when he was still a child, he could never see his father ever again. But for Colin, he was still searching for his stepfather because they used to be very good pals together. Rumors said that he is still searching for him up until today. In conclusion, they both missed their fathers very much but couldn't do anything about it.

      Secondly, their next similarity would be getting ignored by their mothers. What would possibly be worst after than losing their beloved father? Which is exactly getting ignored by their one and only loved ones left, their mothers. Both Richard and Colin did not get much attention from their mothers. In Richard's story, his mother was too busy getting entertained by Reverend Coldstone, the evil wicked step dad that was aiming for Richard's family's fortune all this time. Richard couldn't even get his mother's support when he was getting bullied by Reverend Coldstone. What more would be worst than that? In Colin's story, his mother was busy raising Colin all alone but she did not realize that how much he missed his dad. She was always busy working at the canteen just to raise Colin single- handedly and also with the household chores which would be a great help if Colin would actually help doing it. In the end, the two boys did not feel their mother's loved.

      Moving on, their third similarity would definitely be their most important decision, running away just to make things work, at least that's what they think. They both ran away thinking it would solve their problems but in the end all they both did was cause more trouble. Richard ran away from home because he was constantly being bullied in his boarding school and also he thinks that his family would do way better if he wasn't around. Colin ran way thinking that him alone can find his step father back because his mother couldn't care less about it. After running away for a long time, Richard finally realized that running away couldn't solve his problems. When he went back, it was all too late, weep all you can as what had happened has already happened. Colin on the other side did three paper rounds to save money to search for his stepfather, Colin did the search the hard way but he could have just married a rich lady like how Richard's sister, Charlotte did. But in the end, both ended up achieving merely nothing but bad news.

      In conclusion, these two characters suffered not only sorrow but much pain. Mainly because no one cares about them or even how they felt, not even their loved ones. Not to mentioned no one is there to advise them about their decisions. The moral of the story is, running away does not solve any problems, in fact it can backfire and affect the people around you.

Day : Literature Time !

SPM 2013 ( An important decision made by one of the characters )

The novel I chose is Step by Wicked Step by Anne Fine. The character Richard Clayton Harwick made an important decision in the story, which is running away from home. The decision made by Richard has affected three other characters in the story which are Richard’s Mother Lilith , Richard’s Sister Charlotte , and Richard’s Step Father Reverend Coldstone.

Richard was very young when his father died because of fever. Before his father passed away, he told Richard to listen to his mother, to take care of her and his sister, Charlotte. However, he felt that he was too young to be given this responsibility and it was unfair of his father to tell to do so. Things had changed to the worst after the death of his father.  Mr. Coldstone made all the rules in the house and Richard hated him. Richard was send to Boarding school for 4 years. Here Richard was bullied, starved, robbed, learnt to be silent and patient. He couldn’t stand the torturing here and so Richard made a decision to leave home. What he has yet to know is that the decision he made was going to be a big and important decision.

First and foremost, Richard’s Mother, Lilith had died of heart break. She was depressed just from the idea of Richard running away, she spent all of her fortune looking for Richard but he was no where to be seen. One day while he was still “running away” he saw a notice in the newspaper, asking him to contact Riddle & Flook for he is now the owner of Old Harwick Hall. When he went back to Old Harwick Hall, he found a letter which was written by Charlotte, in his tower room. From the letter , “ First Mother spent a fortune seeking you and all of us suffered Mr Coldstone’s anger as money slipped steadily away… Lilith ! Waste more of your dwindling fortune on this folly and I will make you pay for it twice over ! And so he did. Last year she died ( of him too close, and you too far.) “. The letter stated that Richard’s decision of running away had made her own mother died of heart break.

Secondly, Richard’s Sister, Charlotte had died from fever of child birth. After her mother, Lilith passed away, Mr Coldstone never spent a penny looking for Richard. Charlotte felt that she was the only hope left to find Richard, she had no money to begin with but upon her sixteenth birthday, Charlotte married Charles Devere, a prosperous man who had promised Charlotte that he would continue the search for Richard. And so she died in fever of childbirth as stated in the letter she wrote. “ If I die in fever of childbirth, as so many do, then Charles will send this letter to our old home… “ Richard went home after seeing the notice paper from Riddle and Flook that were hired by Charles Devere, and there he found the letter. This all means his sister, Charlotte had died in fever of child birth.

Last but not least, Richard’s Reverend Coldstone, he had died from fury just by the money spent by Richard’s Mother, Lilith for searching Richard. Mr Coldstone is a cunning man who took advantage of Richard’s Mother, Lilith for her frail and gullible personality. When Richard’s Father died, he got close to Lilith for all he was seeking was Richard’s family fortune. Richard’s Mother remarries Mr Coldstone, after that he made new rules and sent Richard to a boarding school because he was in his way of his motives. Richard was bullied in the boarding school and he decided to ran away. Before Mr Coldstone could get the fortune he was seeking for so long, Richard’s Mother, Lilith spent it all to search for Richard, who had ran away. He was furious as once again stated in Charlotte’s letter, “What ! Yet another costly search ! Let the ungrateful boy be lost for ever ! Lilith ! Waste more of your dwindling fortune on this folly and I will make you pay for it twice over !” His death might not be stated in the letter but even a dim boy could figure out that he died of fury from the fortune spent on searching for Richard.

Therefore, these are the characters affected by the one and only big and important decision made by Richard Clayton Harwick.

Day : One Week Marathon of Blog Posts. [ Mama Day! ]

    Today is a very special day to a special person. It is an appreciation day specially made for all the wonderful mothers out there, who work so hard to raise their children up. Yes, thank you for trying your best to give whatever you can to raise your children. Even if your children does not appreciate you, I appreciate all of you. You are the MVP of the YEAR! For those who are not mothers out there, have you ever wondered? When you were a baby, who was the one taking care of you, feeding you and protecting you?

    Today is the day where we all thank and appreciate all mothers ! Mothers day may seem like any normal day but it is a day of opportunity for children to show their love for once to their mothers. Since I didn't make a mother's day card today, I'll be writing a blog for replacement. :D

    Our mothers are like a security blanket to us because she saves us from all problems. She never regards her own problems and listens to us all time. In order to give her respect, second Sunday of May month has been dedicated for her to celebrate the mother’s day. This event is of great importance to us and our mothers. At this day we should keep our mothers happy and never make her sad. We should always obey her and do works properly. She always wants to make us a good human being in the life.

    Our mothers are very special. Even after being tired she always smiles for us. She tells us different poems and stories while sleeping in the night. She helps us in preparing our project works and home works and helps us during exam time. She takes care of our uniform and school dress. She teaches us to eat anything only after proper hand wash with soap and water. She teaches us good manners, etiquette, morality, humanity and helping others always in the life.

    So love your mother for once and thank her for all that she's done. If you haven't wish her a Happy Mother Days, THEN DO SO NOW ! Trust me, she'll love it even if her expression isn't showing much.

Day : One Week Marathon of Blog posts. [ Freedom Writer Diaries ]

    Freedom Writers Diary, a movie I would rate 6/10. Now don't get me wrong, it's a good movie. But my advise is, if you have a bad attitude, you should watch this movie as I believe it can truly change how one thinks about the others. It starts with a woman, named Erin Gruwell wanting to be a teacher. She has the passion and talent for it, in my opinion.

    Before Gruwell started teaching, the school was full of people that are stereotypes, prejudices and racists. This does not imply only on the students but teachers as well, someone who show results wanting to request for something but got opposed by someone who work for god knows 500 years and yet didn't even produce a hair's result. This was how their attitude were, bunch of ignorant and selfish people (I'm not angry, they're just actors).

    Well back to the story, when she first joined the school, Gruwell quickly learned that her students had more to worry about than homework. Her students actually went home to gunfire, gangs, drugs and a host of other difficult situations. The students were convinced that they had nothing to learn from a white woman who had never experienced firsthand the violence, discrimination and the hatred that was part of their daily lives.

    One day, Gruwell intercepted a note being passed between students. The paper revealed a racist caricature full of hate. Gruwell told her class that it was this sort of hate and misunderstanding that led to the Holocaust. Gruwell was shocked to learn that her students had never heard of the Holocaust.

    Gruwell introduced her class to Anne Frank : The Diary of a Young Girl and to Zlata's Diary : A Child's Life in Sarajevo. She also provided every student with a journal in order for them to have a something to write about their feelings, their fears and their experiences. For the first time in forever, the students actually took an interest in academics!

    To bring this history to life, the students organized a "Read-a-Thon for Tolerance" to raise money to bring Miep Gies, the woman whose family hid Anne Frank, to their school. They were also visited by Zlata Filipovic. The group went on to receive tremendous recognition from the media and from the government, hoping that the others would find inspiration in their story of success.

Day : One Week Marathon of Blog posts. [ STORY! ]

    Welcome to another blog post of mine, it's not going to be any interesting stuff as always. I'll talk about a movie that I've watched. Have you ever experience? Your very own children getting killed one by one in front of your very own eyes? When you stood there, couldn't do anything to save them as they were killed at the blink of an eye. I'll tell the story now.

    Marlin's life was perfect, just the way he wanted, a wife, a house and kids. He wasn't a greedy person, he just wanted happiness from his family. But one day, when he came back after grocery shopping with his wife, Coral. What they saw were their worst nightmare in their entire life, a murderer went murdered all their kids. The murderer was still in their house when they realise, before Ash could react, at the blink of an eye, Coral was shot and Marlin was knocked out instantly.

    When he woke up, what he saw was not a nightmare...but the reality, blood covered in the house everywhere and no sign of life was there except for himself. He cried and thought about it, then he found one of his son still alive but was partially disabled. He was happy that one of his son was still alive, he loved his son very much and took good care of him. Until it was time for his son to go to school.

    On his first day of school, he met new friends and at the turn of events, Marlin's son went to do a dare dared by his friends. But then he was kidnapped, Marlin was shocked and refuse to let this happen, he went on a journey to find his son along with a mentally ill woman that decided to join along. They went to many places and made new friends, when he found out that his son was actually in Sydney.

    Many events occurred during the journey but I'm not going to spoil it. So with the help of Marlin's new friends, he got to Sydney and located where his son was. And now he has to find a way to get his son out. His son made new friends while he was kidnapped and they are also trying to escape but never succeeded once. 

    In the end, Marlin found his son and they lived happily ever after.

[ By the way, the name to the movie was... Finding Nemo. ]

Day : One Week Marathon of Blog posts. [ The Causes of Stress to Teenagers ]

    So what are exactly stress to you? Is it a challenge for you to overcome? Or is it a resistor for you to advance? Basically they both mean the same but that's not important, Stress is actually caused by many many things in life simply by the simplest things like one thing I'm always stressed about even when I'm doing something that is suppose to release my stress, [LAG]. Games don't actually make us violent, but the lag makes us violent. Simply by lagging 1 or 2 seconds can cost you and your team's lives, and YES! that is indeed a stressful thing. But i will now tell you other stuff that makes us " The Angels that wants knowledge" stress.

    Obviously the first thing that comes into your mind when it comes to stress is studies, academics and stuff about educations. Why is this always a main cause of our stress? Because apparently PEOPLE have high expectations for us when it comes to studying, you don't study well, down goes your reputation in your family. You will be called as a "useless" even in your own family (not me i didn't get called that before). But even so, it is still stressful even if you're not called useless in the family. High Expectation = Good Grades = Study More = Stress. And when your grades turn out not what they expected, Bad Grades = Expectation Not Met = "Useless" = Stress.

    It is so much stress just to write all those, so we should move on to the next point. FINANCE, yes, financial problems will cause stress too, but how? Well, simply by, Poor = Study While Working = Lack Of Time To Study = Bad Grades = Expectation Not Met = "Useless" = Stress. It all relates back to the same thing, but for this point, having financial problem will have stress on it's own. Parents will make their children to work with them, normally at selling stuff, and if they don't sell out much, the poor children will be used as a "scolding bag" for the parents to release their stress. But what do the poor little children get to use? THAT'S RIGHT! THEY HAVE NOTHING D; because they respect their parents so they can't scold back at them.

    Next point is about family problems, yes it is all related back to the same thing. There are many family problems that can cause stress to the kids. Example, a divorce is like a ticket for a kid's mind to get instantly blown to pieces, when parents get divorce, some don't even care about the kids anymore which will make the kids feel uneasy and unsure of what to do as they have never experience anything like it before. Which will eventually lead them to stress, focusing studies while watching one of your parents have a new partner is like STRESS + STRESS = [ 1 x 10^99 Stress ]. ESPECIALLY IF YOUR STEP-[insert parent] HATES YOU !!!

    Moral of the story, please don't do anything that will make your kids get more stress just from their studies alone. I do hope I won't do something stupid that will make me get a divorce when I grow up because I don't want my kids to be stressful people D:

Day : One Week Marathon of Blog posts. [ Road Bullying ]

    What have happen to the world? Have you ever experience something far worst than pollution? Some that like, your loved ones actually dying right in front of your very own eyes? All because of one...motorbike.. or car :D. But... Can you actually imagine? Your PET GOLD FISH GOT RAN OVER BY A UNICYCLE !? That is my experience on the cold hard road, but that's not even related to the topic at all but well why not? So in modern days, road bullying has increased vastly. But why? I don't know why but I do know how to prevent it :D.

     Well the most suitable way to prevent it is obviously JAIL THEM INSTANTLY. But then again, try putting yourself in that position, you accidentally rushed a red light and you got sent to jail. Do you want it to happen? NO RIGHT? That is why jailing them instantly is the best way but it is a little harsh to them so that's why, we have to move on to the next point. But before that, I want to talk a little about jailing them. Jailing them, yes indeed can reduce the amount of road bullying by a few days but it cannot reduce it permanently. But then again nothing can reduce it permanently, so what we want is reducing it for a longer period, which this method is perfectly suitable for it :D.

    Moving on to the next point, how about revoking their drivers license? It looks fine and harmless to me, but revoking their license, as I said earlier can only reduce road bullying for a short period. But it is still a good method as the youngsters can actually go home and think! reflect! on their wrongdoings. BECAUSE OF THEM, INNOCENT LIVES HAVE BEEN SACRIFICED. MY PET GOLD FISH !! But hopefully revoking their license will make them have at least the slightest fear on the punishment of road bullying.

    On to the next point, as always counselling is a method for all problems [ Sort Of ]. By counselling, if they are facing a problem, they can be solved with the help of the almighty counselor. Like on the Disciplinary post, some kids might be encountering the lack of love from their families problem. It is not a laughing matter because this can be part of a reason why road bullying is actually happening. The counselors are there to help anytime you face a problem/difficulties.

    Well of course, fining the "sinners" are the best way because, it's simple, and it's easy! And of course acts as an extra income for the in-charge peoples -Wink-. But there are advantages and disadvantages when it comes to fining. Advantages are, people who are poor or really care about their finances will be effective with fining them. BUT, the disadvantages are, people who are rich or don't really care about their finances because they have their parents to give them money weekly/monthly will be completely unaffected when it comes to fining.

    Road Bullies only bring sadness and sorrow to our lives but there are always people that just want to watch the world burn. SO PLEASE! STOP THIS "BS" BEFORE YOU EXPERIENCE WHAT I EXPERIENCED ! D;

Day : One Week Marathon of Blog posts. [ Motivation ]

    On the last post, We've talked about disciplinary problems. Now that it's all solved, which means the students are back to angels wanting to gain knowledge mode. But now, how does exactly one makes himself/herself ( Gender Equality ) to be motivated to carry out something so boring yet good for us. Well most angels just make themselves play video games but trust me, it won't work, I've tried. But I do know some ways for the angels to have motivation :D.

    One thing for sure, we need help from others, which is why someone lovely and important will only be able to play this role, The Parents. They play an important role in our lives which includes motivating us. All of us are born with a sense of respect towards their parents (unless you're a spoilt brat), we will eventually listen one or two things from our parents. And this is the perfect time for them to use their privilege as a parent to order or should I use "ask" us to study. But don't worry, if it doesn't work, you can always use "cheat codes". The following are the cheat codes, you can promise them to buy them stuff if they study for (insert number) hours (don't worry, you don't really have to buy them stuff, they will somehow forget about it if you drag long enough.) And parents can actually threatened their intellectual devices if they don't study but I'm sure we all don't want it to happen so I'll just leave this point here.

    Next point, Ah Yes! Teachers, the guardians and the guider of the angels wanting to learn. They can make their study sessions more interesting and fun like how my English Teacher brings us to watch movie (it's brilliant !), This will make the kids want to learn even more, of course I'm not going to list out ways to make the class more interesting, that's the teacher's job not mine. But Teachers are the only beings that actually knows the student's condition on their studies, they keep track of each student's studies by checking their work and past exam grades. They can also help the students by approaching them and asking if they're encountering any problems/difficulties.

    Besides, students can also help each other out by having a study group, because minds of the same age knows what they want most and it's STUDY GROUP !! Because if you're studying alone and you're bored, all you can do is play with your pets :(. But that's not all, by having a study group, normally when you don't understand, you can always ask around if anyone know about it to explain it to you. But if none of them know, we can always WhatsApp or FB Chat a teacher for help :).

    In the end, we all learn that having motivation in studies are important to help us reach for the skies that seemed to be impossible for us at first. So let's help each other and reach for the skies TOGETHER ! :D.

Day : One Week Marathon of Blog posts. [ Disciplinary Problems ]

    Well, we have talked about job interview on the previous post. Now it's time to actually go back to the reality where we should be, The School. School is a place for the lovely angels to learn peace and harmony and to gain some knowledge. But then... this just have to appear no matter what, disciplinary problems. Why kids or should I use, Students have to be so stubborn to break these simple and small rules? I just don't get it but i kind of got it after i thought about it. I mean, school is a place for kids to learn but then some kids just want to watch the world burn. That's right, breaking the rules.

    First of all, I believe teachers can do a few stuffs to get rid of the troublemakers :). Well maybe being strict for once about the school rules can do the trick. But how? Well, sometimes you have to act fierce in front of the students even though your personality is a sweet loving cupid. But that's not important, if you want to make the school become a better place, then be strict about school rules ( Pn Monica please don't be strict to us, I'm just doing this for pebels D: ). The school rules aren't meant to be broken in the first place, but it is broken because they're not afraid of the teachers. So once you have been acknowledge by the students as a strict teacher, you will slightly see changes :).

    Up next is, punishing them during assembly, is a pretty sweet move. Well mainly because nobody wants to be humiliated in front of everyone (especially if you have a crush cause you need to look cool in front of them right?) And Yes! Standing in front of the assembly is not cool, no no. So, the students will actually think twice or even thrice before even breaking the school rules but there is an exception to it, some students that are LOA [ Lack of Attention ] will actually like to stand in front during the assembly because god knows why they think standing in front of everyone as a punishment is cool.

    Moving on, giving counselling to the spoilt brat might work for some cases. I don't really know why but I'm pretty sure the almighty counselor can change their way of thinking. Like helping them get some idea on how to solve the brat's problems if they're facing one, some people actually do bad stuff to get attention from their families because he/she is probably less wanted in the family (no offense) but that is why the counselors are there to help. Counselling them and giving them ideas or opinion or even ways to solve their problems the correct way, instead of doing the wrong thing and think it's right.

   Well all and all, we know that students before carrying out a sin are angels falling from the sky wanting to gain knowledge. So please, don't influence them if you are one of the "sinned" students.

Day : One Week Marathon of Blog posts. [ Job Interview ]

Job interview plays an important role in our life. It helps us to get get a job that we're interested in. But, getting our ideal job is not as easy as you think, that is why having a good first impressions are important to us. So, what exactly are these things that we need to boost our first impressions to the employers during a job interview?

    Firstly, doing research on the company is significant to shows that you have done your homework before going to an interview. Having slightly more details about the company's background and stuffs will bring the employers to think that you are really interested in this company that you kind of "stalked it". Thus, the chances of them wanting to actually hire you are way up in the skies.

    Well that's one thing, the other way is actually dress neatly before going for the interview. If an employer has to choose between two, one with messy clothing but slightly smarter than the other, or one with neat clothing but slightly dimmer than the other? Obviously the one slightly smarter right? But that's not the point, the point is employers will want their employees to dress neatly during working hours as there might be VIPs visiting them even though the company you're trying to get in is a small company, but even a boy can dream big right?

    Enough of that point, moving on to the next, well obviously you will be asked questions in an interview but what if you're bad at talking in front of the employers like I do? Like having some words stuttered even though you have practiced those boring lines that you're trying to impress them over and over again. It's tough but having self confidence in oneself is important and helps you to speak well in front of many, but that will be another point on it's own partially unrelated to this point.

    Last but not least, preparing a resume is actually pretty useful, I don't know who in this world will actually think a resume isn't important in an interview but let's be real. Going for an interview without a resume is the same as sending yourself that doesn't know how to dance, to a dance battle. It's pure pathetic, but that's not the real point. The real point is we have to "look" professional when we're getting interviewed, probably iron your clothes for once and shave your beard and mustache before you go for it is advisable.

    Well, moral of the story is, ask help from seniors before going for an interview. :D

    Hi again, it's time for a blog post of the week ! Today we'll be talking about something that happens every semester to all students and it is not what many people would like. Yes, It is Examinations!! I hate exams very much, who is the person who invented exams? I feel like punching him in the face. But then again , this is just me being childish. We have to have exams because it shows how much we know from studying or learning. Today, I'm going to talk about what I like and dislike about Examinations. :D

    I'm going to start with dislike because I dislike exams. Well first and foremost, what I dislike about most exams is the need to study. Well, nobody wants to get bad grades, unless they have given up in life. So, in order to not get bad grades, we have to study. Right? Studying is like the most boring activities out there, mostly because we have to memorize facts, equations and definitions. Here's an example, Sejarah A.K.A History. These things wont give you good grades just by understanding what they're doing. You NEED to memorize their names, what is that specific place and what were their achievements and also what were their mistakes.

    But all bad has it's good, right? Or is it the other way around? I'm not even sure myself but let's get to the next part. What I LIKE about exams are most probably the amount of homework we get during exam time. The amount of homework we get are basically near ZERO, unless some :P teachers decided to mess our study schedule with their homework of the day. But unless that homework is part of the tips :D, then we might appreciate it. The other things I like about exams are most likely  NOTHING.

Day Z : Valentine's Day? Chinese New Year? Whats That?

    Hello everyone, as you all know it is time for The Weekly Blog Post !! Today's topic will be about ♥Valentine's Day♥ and Chinese New Year !! What's that? You don't know what they are? They are one of the well-known special days in the whole world ! But then again, what is so good about ♥Valentine's Day♥ and Chinese New Year? I mean, they are just like any other holidays that gives us a day or two off.


    Well well well, I guess ♥Valentine's Day♥ ain't so special after all huh? There are people who like ♥Valentine's Day♥ and there are people who dislike them and there might even be people who do both. One of the main reasons why people actually dislike ♥Valentine's Day♥ is probably because he/she has no partner :( That's the case for me too as I slightly dislike ♥Valentine's Day♥ , it sort of feel like it's still too young for me :P (teehee). Even so there is another reason why I dislike ♥Valentine's Day♥ IF I do have a partner, and that is probably the present you are going to get for him/her. People usually say that "It's the thought that counts" but actually you know that it's not just about that. Everyone wants useful/good presents, sure the thought does count a little but it'd be great to have a gift that you enjoyed having. Choosing presents will probably be why I dislike most about ♥Valentine's Day♥ with a condition of having a partner.

    Onto the next special day, Chinese New Year ! Well, who doesn't like Chinese New Year? Not only the Chinese loves it, even other races love it. Why? Because who doesn't like a one week holiday? (In this case it's two days holiday for other non-school jobs) Not only we get one week holiday, we also get ANGPAU for the non-marrieds. We get MONEY and HOLIDAY ! But every good has it's bad, there is no doubt people disliking Chinese New Year. Most probably with a reason of no relatives or you're a workaholic. Workaholics might probably think that holidays are a waste of time because they are forced to take a day off. But for me, what I dislike most about Chinese New Year is probably the fact that every year we have to do SPRING CLEANING! Probably the worst excuse/reason out there but, it's my reason why I dislike Chinese New Year. I don't really dislike cleaning but that's the best reason I have out there, other than that I ♥LOVE♥ Chinese New Year.

Day Y : My Birth Date !! :D

Day Y, 8th February 2015, Time: 5:00PM (UTC+8:00) Kuala Lumpur

    Hi again guys !! Today's topic is all about ME! Why? Because I am going to search what cool and interesting histories happened on my Birth Date. I believe there should be tons of important histories on 15th January :P . But first things first, I heard that my English Teacher got dengue fever or some sick if I'm wrong. :O , I do hope she get well as soon as possible. Now to search in the Wikipedia! 

    Year 69, Otho seizes power in Rome, proclaiming himself Emperor of Rome, but rules for only three months before committing suicide. Well, I might not know the history about this Otho guy, but I don't get why he committed suicide even though he was ruling a country. Some weird stuffs going on in the past :/ . In Year 1943 15th January, World War II : The Soviet counter-offensive at Voronezh begins. Looks like the people of Soviet has something up in their sleeves for having a counter offensive to break their enemies' lead. In Year 2001 15th January, The Wikipedia has been born. The famous and useful Wikipedia has the same birth date as I am :D.

    Year 1988, Skrillex the famous American singer-songwriter, DJ, and producer was born. (I know who Skrillex is but I don't like his song, no offense.) In Year 1432, Afonso V of Portugal was born. He was the King of Portugal and the Algarves , He was born in Sintra as the eldest son of King Edward of Portugal by his wife. Eleanor of Aragon (sounds like a dragon's name). Afonso V was only six years old when he succeeded his father in 1438, SIX YEARS OLD ONLY !! Apparently he conquered a few places which are Alcácer Ceguer, Tangiers and Arzila. These achievement has granted him the nickname of The African.

    As for holidays on 15th January, apparently it is Tree Planting Day !! for the Egypt. Wow, a day just for planting trees? There are also holidays based on soldiers which are, Armed Forces Day in Nigeria and Army Day in India. I don't know whats the real point of these holidays because I didn't read further into them but I'm pretty sure they are for thanking the hardworking / sacrificed soldiers or something like that :).  I should stop now because it is quite long and also I have other work to do,
